To dive into this a bit further, lets look at the last year, 2023, Auckland's real estate market demonstrated a mix of resilience and variability. Sales volumes on the North Shore, for instance, showed an increase from 1,326 properties in the 12 months leading to November 2022 to 1,249 in the same period in 2023. This indicates a consistent demand in the area, reflecting its enduring appeal to buyers​​.

The average sale price in various areas of Auckland, including the North Shore, experienced fluctuations. Notably, the average sale price on the North Shore was $1,382,075 in November 2023, compared to $1,285,026 in November 2022. These figures reveal a market that, while facing some price adjustments, remains robust in terms of value​​.
